PerfectLogic Corporation was first awarded a GSA Schedule 70 Contract in April 2004. We are now pleased to announce that the General Services Administration has extended our Schedule 70 Contract for a second five year term. This extension to our contract is a significant accomplishment and makes it possible for PerfectLogic to sell a broader range of software engineering services to local, state, and federal agencies under SIN 132-51.
GSA Schedule Contracts, or Federal Supply Schedules, are long-term, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts awarded by the General Services Administarion under its Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Program. GSA Schedule Contracts were created to make it easier for federal agencies to purchase products and services from private sector companies. Among other things, these contracts prescribe pre-negotiated prices for products and services, warranties, and delivery terms.
Before a company is awarded a GSA Schedule Contract, it must submit to an arduous application process. An important part of this process is the negotiation of fair and reasonable prices for products or services offered. Once obtained, however, the GSA Schedule Contract provides the simplest and most widely-used contract instrument available to procurement officers.
